Angie & Danny {MARRIED}

Fellow TIGER fans Angie & Danny had a gorgeous mid-day wedding on the lawn of Lownde's Grove.
The moss-stuffed lanterns hanging from giant oak trees was a nice touch and we couldn't have hoped for a more beautiful day. The groom's cake was even decorated with a big paw print!

Everyone was like one big family and EVERYONE had a great time.

Victoria & Luke {ENGAGED}

Victoria shares my strong hatred for the southern heat and humidity and now that the weather is FINALLY getting cooler around here - it came time to schedule Victoria & Luke's engagement session.

And what a gorgeous day it was too!

The clouds were keeping the sun's heat at bay and the tourists were off somewhere else (for a change).

It was so fun walking around getting to know Victoria & Luke and I can't wait for their wedding (THIS WEEKEND) and the VERY beautiful Alhambra Hall!

Angie {BRIDAL}

Not only was Angie STUNNING in her wedding dress, but Lownde's Grove is simply amazing.

I had so much fun, I could barely focus on the fact that I was just getting over a ridiculous stomach bug (while simultaneously catching a cold). Luckily, my sister Anna from Anna McSwain Photography was able to come along and help out.

We all had a great time and the pictures are beautiful!

Courtney & Michael {ENGAGED}

Courtney wanted to have her engagement session include trains & train tracks, so after I found those awesome old trains downtown I knew exactly where we'd go! (That, and she specifically asked to go there, lol).

We had a couple of run-ins with hornet nests and we found someone's sleeping bag hidden inside (an abandoned  rail car) but we also had a lot of fun.

This is actually becoming a very popular spot in Charleston to have sessions. It'd be nice if someone would go through and actually clean up all the garbage and dangerous, rusty metal & broken glass.

Hornet's nests, HoBo sleeping bags, rusty metal shards and broken glass...we like to go on adventures for our sessions, lol.

Julie & Brady {ENGAGED}

This past Sunday we had SO MUCH fun with Julie & Brady for their engagement shoot. Julie went to CSU with us and we got so excited when she asked us to capture her wedding!

They are so much fun and their style is so cute. They brought props and everything! They were even cool enough to try out a new (to me) location. We've been hearing about these "old train cars" in Charleston and have even seen them from an overpass, but have never really found out how to GET to them. Well, we went on a little adventure and made our way down there Sunday and I LOVE IT! It was a little dangerous with all the glass and rust and we were pretty sure we'd see a hobo (we didn't) but ended just getting attacked by gnats.

We spent some time there and then made our way downtown for a few more pictures before calling it a night.
